Katherine Patterson
Email Marketing Director
AMA Philadelphia

Communications Coordinator,
Gene Therapy Program at the University of Pennsylvania

“I was initially looking to volunteer with an organization because it was taking some time for me to find a job in my field after graduating, and I was missing that exposure to marketing that I had when I was in school. After researching AMA Philadelphia, I knew this would be the perfect place for me. Their aim to empower and prepare marketers motivated me to want to be a part of such a driven team. I saw this as a great opportunity to not only expand my network and build my resume, but also to grow and develop my marketing skills.

My experience so far has been more rewarding than I ever could have imagined. AMA has supported and helped me advance my marketing skills, while encouraging me to grow professionally at networking events. I joined the Marketing & Communications Committee as an Email Marketing Associate and was honored to be given the opportunity to step up to the Email Marketing Director role. It means a great deal to be recognized and appreciated. I look forward to promoting and aiding AMA’s development and accomplishments.”
