The Philadelphia Chapter of the American Marketing Association is pleased to announce Allison Girone, Marketing & Communications Specialist at Aramark, and Jeff Paolini, Digital Communications Strategist at the Philadelphia Zoo as the recipients of the 2018 AMA Philadelphia Rising Star Award. The award recognizes emerging leaders in marketing who showcase exceptional growth and contribution to the profession, as well as increased levels of leadership and responsibility in their career.
Allison’s work in gaining critical client and consumer insights, overhauling field communications, and focusing on continuous improvement were noted as significant achievements by our judging panel. Jeff was recognized for his work leading digital initiatives that have positively impacted the online experience for millions of people affiliated with the Philadelphia Zoo. Finally, both Allison and Jeff have dedicated time giving back through volunteerism in our marketing community.

The nominees and award winners were recognized in a special presentation by Jenna Armato, VP of Recognition Programs, during this year’s SuperBowl Smack Down event held on February 7th at the Victory Beer Hall @ Xfinity Live.
